Easy Math Warm-up Templates

Free printable PDF math templates for algebra, algebra 2 and even geometry, some of which will work great in middle school math. I LOVE math templates. It makes life so much easier to know my warm up is all set to go. When I first wrote this post, I had only made 4 Algebra and Algebra 2 templates. Since then, I've added a whole bunch more.

I LOVE math templates. It makes life so much easier to know my math warm up is all set to go. In this post, I show and link all of the math templates I've made. They are all free to download.

Free Algebra Warm up template
Algebra 1 template

This algebra 1 template is the result of a teacher seeing my algebra 2 template and wanting one for her students. Students are given one piece of information (either the graph, table or equation) and then fill in the rest. Here is the template inside a page protector:

I have used math templates for warm-ups, closers, exit tickets or just as quick checks for understanding.

Slipping the templates into pocket protectors allows students to work out answers with a dry-erase marker and also saves paper. To use the template, I project onto the board either a graph or an equation and students fill in the rest from there.

We use the heck out of this projectile motion template during our quadratics unit! It gives students repeated practice on finding a good graphing calculator window.

Here are all of the math templates I have made so far. You can download each for free.

  2. These are fantastic! I am wondering if you have any recommendations for similar templates for data analysis at the upper elementary (graph interpretation etc). I have searched on TPT as well as on pinterest. I am looking for exactly what you are showing, except those earlier concepts.

  11. I love your resources and blog. I would really like more Geometry templates to incorporate into Geometry. Lessons on circles where they use dot paper to discover the theorems perhaps?

    1. Thanks so much for your suggestion. I've never used dot paper to discover geometric theorems, but I will look into it and see what I can do.

I have a renewed push for how I will be teaching this year. These Algebra templates are the best suppport for stations and group work. I am planning on laminating them for table work and then print for a quick formative. You are so very gracious in sharing... thank you!

    1. I'm so glad you found them! I used the Algebra 2 warm up template most days in my algebra 2 class. It really simplifies that part of the class for me and made it so that I wasn't scrambling daily to find a warm up.
